Name: Darth Malus (Previously Shakra T’zaan)

Species: Sith. (If possible. If you’re unfamiliar, they’re red skinned people with tentacle-like beards.)
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 120 lbs.
Hair: Dark Red.
Eyes: Red. No pupils for some reason. Still has the whites of his eyes.
Gender: Male
Home world: Korriban.
Alignment: Dark Side.
Force-User: Yes.
Clothing: Long black robes.
Weapons: A red lightsaber with a curved guard around the handle made with a Cortosis-weave, so as to be used to parry lightsaber attacks.
A Sith Lanvarok- a wrist mounted projectile launcher that fires thin but solid metal discs in a spray at an enemy. It has a long reload time and low accuracy, but the discs can be aimed with the Force to produce a very lethal weapon.
Inventory: Com link, bloodsoup.
Possessions: A warship he and his servants ride in. As a Sith (species), he has right to much of the surface world of Korriban.
Appearance: He has an unusual trait among the Sith. He has all black skin, including his tentacle-beard. He has an extraordinarily frail-looking body which belies his fierce will to survive and to dominate those around him.
Short Bio:
Born a Sith on the desolate planet Korriban and raised by his parents to restore the former glory of the planet, he was introduced to the Dark Side of the Force at an early age, and taught to hate Jedi and wield a lightsaber. As part of his training, he was brutally beaten by his parents, resulting in his frail appearance. He was taught to wield his hatred like a knife, and to kill anyone who stood in his way. He favored his mental abilities over his physical form, and began to learn to block out the pain his parents inflicted upon him. Then, he began to return the pain to his parents. His parents encouragd his behaviour, and he began to dabble in the Force as his hatred for his parents increased. However, his parents were displeased by their son's weak physical body (a result of their brutal training), and decided that he would not live to see the restoration of Korriban. They sealed him within a Sith Lord’s tomb and abandoned him for dead.
Trapped inside his new tomb, he began to slowly starve to death. However, in the abandoned Sith tunnels, he came across a Holocron made by the Sith Lord Andeddu, a Sith Lord famous for his knowledge in the Dark Side, such that he could animate his dead body to anchor his soul into the world of the living. Shakra absorbed all the information he could out of the Holocron, and practiced what he learned as his body died, racing his own death until he could master what the Holocron taught. His fear of his own death pushed him into a frenzy, but allowed him to master the secrets enough to cease his body's decay. Having been apprenticed to the Holocron of Andeddu, Malus had grown strong in the Force and freed himself, to finish off his parents.
He flew at them in a rage, and broke their minds with the Force. Then he reached out with the Force and devoured their life essences, increasing his own connection to the Force and cementing his fate to that of the Dark Side once and for all. To consume the lives of others is a damning act for which there is no repentance. In acknowledgment, he dubbed himself Darth Malus. Having finally drunk deeply of the Dark Side, only then did he realize his thirst. He needed more power, more of the Force. His thirst for power and vengeance left unsated by the carnage, he left the planet on a Sith ship and traveled throughout the Galaxy, journeying to planets strong in the Dark Side of the Force, like Dagobah, and drinking in the dark secrets and powers he found there. He had a natural talent in sucking the life out those he came into contact with, and he utilized that to enhance his own powers.
Though his mind became powerful in the force, his natural body began to decay and die. To prolong his existence, he began to use the Force to manipulate his body, learning to use the force to allow his weak body to perform tasks normally beyond his range.
He began to expand his mental consciousness to compensate for his frail being. His mind became strong enough to dominate less-intelligent life forms, and over time he began to have strong influence over sentient beings, such that he could inspire fierce loyalty in weaker-willed persons. the sith no longer have right to korriban, no more so thant the ewoks have right to mygeeto. the Sith migrated and fell first to the sith, and then to darwin. Also you say much, but with little detail, why is his skin black? its like giving a human blue skin... Could you tell me what kind of tentacles you have? and also you keep saying that he learned this and learned that, it seems almost like a plea for you to just grab more powers... Anyways I am not even elligible to approve. so nevermind me. It was nice but I don't think that Malus, even though you cherish him so, should have such a shoddy back story. The whole specific instance with the jedi leads to nothing valuable, it is just to establish that your character is cool. Also I don't think that the sth could've/would've gathered to sucha a dark side call, the are supposed to be extinct, if palpatine came and went with out any notice how does a novice, starving little child do otherwise? anyways we'll talk more later I am not even supposed to be criticing you.... I am just someone else awaiting approval
I hate to disagree with you, but the Sith would've been drawn to the Dark Side presence naturally, as they would seek out places strong in the Dark Side to further their own powers. Now, you claim I have a shoddy background. Please elaborate. The sith are not moths. They don't swarm to the dark side mindlessly. Also they would be armed to the teeth and prepared for the worst. New spots heavy in the dark side don't just sprout up. and due to your description you implied that they were acting in concert. Did they all catch the stupid? In order to have survived this long they would have since realized to avoid places fresh with the dark side. If Revan didn't attract sith to his academy how did a pissy little squirt with some rocks and a demon thing manage to do it?
I dont think your background was shoddy but in saying that a young ling with little experience of the force could not have used to such skill as you protruded. I think you should make your story a little shorter and put this story in the "Fan Fic" area. never the less an interesting read. I like to see people on the site with proper knowledge of the sith history. _________________

While I hate to argue, they actually were a race before the Sith faction was born. Dark Jedi moved to Korriban to escape the Order, and interbred with the species, and thus the Sith faction came into being. My character is one of the last remaining Sith species.
